Mamuyao is a barangay in the municipality of Tanay, in the province of Rizal. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 767. This represented 0.65% of the total population of Tanay.
Mamuyao is situated at approximately 14.6433, 121.4056, in the island of Luzon. Elevation at these coordinates is estimated at 228.1 meters or 748.4 feet above mean sea level.
Tanay is located 57 kilometers east of Manila in the Philippines. Tanay is bordered by Antipolo City in the northwest and the towns of Baras, Morong and Teresa in in the west, General Nakar (Quezon Province) in the east, and Pililla, Santa Maria (in the Laguna province) as well as the lake Laguna de Bay in the south.

Tanay is one of the thirteen (13) towns and one (1) component city that comprise the Province of Rizal. It is located in the eastern part of the province. It is becoming an extension of Manila’s urbanization along with the city of Antipolo, towns of Cainta, Angono, Taytay and Binangonan. It is about 54 kilometers away southeast of Manila and has a land area of 33,466 hectares.
